Vigano S.p.A.'s commitment to the environment and people goes back a long way, long before sustainability became a shared priority. For us, sustainability means respect for the environment, for our employees and for responsible governance. Our commitment is concrete and inspired by the values of the NU 2030 Agenda.
We want to leave future generations a greener and fairer planet, starting with what we can control: the choice of raw materials, our production processes, the quality of work and the well-being of the people who are part of our reality.
The company is located in a park filled with fruit trees — a true green lung. We use recycled cardboard packaging and have a separate waste collection system tailored to our sector. We are also committed to combatting the use of plastic.
Any fumes generated are purified by a latest-generation electro filter, which guarantees our environmental friendliness. We embrace the principle of the circular economy “cradle to cradle” by feeding waste back into the production cycle.
The company actively promotes gender equality, with 50% of the team being women. We promote internal well-being through welfare initiatives for all staff, who tend to stay with the company for an average of a long time.
We have adopted ethical regulations to encourage responsible behaviour. Furthermore, we support the local community through practical social projects because we believe in a company that creates value beyond its own borders.
Viganò S.p.A. products are OEKO-TEX® certified for organic cotton, a process that guarantees the use of regenerated cotton through eco-friendly methods, minimising waste and environmental impact.
In addition, the stain-resistant treatments on our velvets are all C0 fluorine free, in compliance with new US regulations. To reduce environmental impact, we use recycled yarns, both polyester and wool.
